Welcome

Wow, I have a blog, who knew?  

I am a single mother, who is trying to figure out how to juggle life and motherhood without compromising my principles.  I am a Christian, a Republican, and many  many many more things.  I am not shy nor am I ashamed of my beliefs and will probably say things that others disagree with.  But hey, that is ok.  We all do not have to agree on everything.  

My greatest love is my soon to be 9 year old Dean.  He is my light,  my life, my joy, my raison d'être.  How do you describe someone who, just by their very existence, altered your life so drastically.  I am sure other mothers feel the same about their children.  But I am still very much in love with my son.
